The M4PRIS project was presented on Thursday 14 March 2024 at an Information Event organized by the Federation of Correctional Officers of Greece, which took place at the Municipal Council Hall, in Korydallos.

The event aimed at raising awareness on European projects that involve prison staff and contribute to their upskilling through training and mentoring activities. Among the projects presented during the event, M4PRIS was highlighted as a promising project to promote the well-being of prison staff, through a whole- prison approach. Project activities were analyzed and the forthcoming implementation of mentoring activities was announced.

The audience, consisting of prison staff from the Korydallos Prison Complex, prison directors from different Correctional Institutions, stakeholders from the field of Criminal Justice System in Greece, local authorities and decision makers, expressed their interest in the project, acknowledging its importance for the support of professionals working in prisons, facing challenging circumstances. It is expected that the event will support the development of a pool of prison professionals who will follow and contribute in the implementation of the M4PRIS project in Greece.
