PRESENTATION OF THE M4PRIS PROJECT AT THE EUROPEAN MENTORING SUMMIT IN PARIS (2024)
The M4PRIS project was presented on Friday 26th April 2024 at The European Mentoring Summit, in Paris (France). The workshop titled “Peer Mentoring Programme to tackle mental health issues, job burnout and job-related stress in prison staff” was co-organised by Aproximar, Cooperativa de Solidariedade Social and HIVA.
The European Mentoring Summit is a biennial event that aims at connecting people and projects in the mentoring sector in order to establish connections and share research, best practices, and learning-bearing experiences of mentoring programmes across Europe. Every event has a mentoring-related theme and highlights special keynote speakers and activities.
This year’s summit theme, “Expanding reach, deepening impact: mentoring for facing challenges and empowering futures,” aims to bring together the expansion of mentoring initiatives with the assurance of quality, emphasising that increased scale should not compromise excellence.
